Okay, I have to admit it. I have virtually no self control.
I went into Next to buy a bigger bottle of their Wish EDT (more on that later) and ended up with this:
I didn't need a new purse. I had a new one a few weeks ago. I have about 15 others. But it's never about need is it? Its all about the WANTNOW!
Generally speaking, I'm not one for cutesy things. Stuff with pictures of animals on it isn't usually my bag, but I do love me a bit of animal print. This, though, was different.
Why? Because its a kitty with makeup. Not that you can see in the picture, but it also has a diamante collar (my cat does too!).
Then there's the zebra print around the edges and on the zips...
...and the hot pink lining...
It was purse-love at first sight!
If you want to have a cute cat/makeup/diamante/zebra print/hot pink thing going on (and I know you do, because really who doesn't?) Next currently have this in store for £9, which is bargaintastic.
HG Products - Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil
I don't have very many "holy grail" products. I try things, love them for a bit and then get very bored and never touch them again. That being said, there are a few products that I've fallen in love with and the honeymoon period didn't end. This is one of them:
It doesn't look like much, does it? A little bottle of oil, so what? But let me tell you, Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse could not be more aptly named. Its an absolute wow of a product.
Its a dry oil, which I didn't really understand until I tried it. It literally is what it says - an oil, but it doesn't leave you greasy in the same way that baby oil does. It leaves your skin feeling moisturised without the slipperyness.
I have what we could best describe as a fickle nose. If I don't like the smell of something, no matter how expensive or how good, I'm not going to use it. This product smells absolutely divine. I can't describe the smell, but Nuxe's website says it contains Borage, St Johns Word, Sweet Almond, Camellia and Hazlenut and Macademia, so I'm guessing its a combination of all of them.
I think the thing I like most about this product is that you can use it for so many things. Mostly, I use it as a plain on body oil when I get out of the shower as it leaves my skin super soft and smelling fab but I have used it as cuticle oil and bath oil before now, as well as a conditioning treatment on my hair if I've run out of whatever else I'm using. I've even tried it on my face, mixed in with my moisturiser in the winter if I felt like I needed a bit of a moisture boost. They also suggest mixing a drop with your foundation to help it glide on smoothly.
There's another version, which is the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR, which has a gold shimmer in it. I'm very pale and find it a bit much, but if you've got a tan it'll look gorgeous.
I've got a 50ml bottle which I paid about £25 for - I got mine in John Lewis, but its not on their website anymore. Space NK do sell it though, so if you're near one you should definitely go and have a look. If you're anything like me you won't be disappointed.
